Attempting to install Flash player on a mac. System requirements are met; old versions uninstalled. I keep getting this error message "Install Adobe Flash Player" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

This worked for me thanks!  I'm on : Mac Pro running OSX 10.10 Yosemite.  I guess the upgrade reverted my Gatekeeper settings.


Under System Preferences > Security and Privacy

Set Allow Apps Downloaded From:

App Store and Identified Developers

I tried; but got the same error message - "... damaged and can't be opened. You should eject (or close)..."

can you try following these instructions to bypass the gatekeepr functionality? http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Troubleshooting/Gatekeeper-blocking-installer
