Install Flash Player 20 Active X and Plugin via SCCM per system, NOT user

Is there a way to deploy Flash Player 20 ActiveX and Plugin via SCCM 2012 to install for the entire computer, without a user logged on?

I attempted this process here, and it doesn't install, because it's being installed as the local SYSTEM admin account, as opposed to a logged in user.

Is there some type of modification to the MSI that can allow this?

    Do you have a verbose MSI install log file from the SCCM installation attempt?  If so, please  provide that as well.

    I got it working with using the .EXE installer versions instead of the MSI files.

    Hi,

    Installation via SCCM can be performed with a user logged on or off, just depends how SCCM is configured.

    Flash Player can only installed per-system, not per-user.

    Installation is performed via the SYSTEM account in case the current user does not have sufficient permissions to install (Admin permissions are required).

    I am not familiar with the tutorial you point to.  The Flash Player Admin Guide contains information on the various supported installation methods.

    If you have a verbose MSI install log file for an impacted system, I can take a look at it, along with the FlashInstall.log file (from the same system).  The FlashInstall.log file is saved at C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash.  If this is a 64-bit OS, there's another FlashInstall.log file saved at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash.  Both files are needed from a 64-bit OS.

    Upload the files to cloud.acrobat.com using the instructions at How to share a document or some other file sharing service of your choice that doesn't require log-in to access.  Post the link to the uploaded files in your reply.

    Hey Maria,

    thank you for your response. unfortunately, I've already seen that mentioned document, the admin guide, and it doesn't help as neither scenario that it covers, applies to what i'm asking about; it only mentions SMS and system center updates publisher. i'm trying to utilize system center configuration manager 2012 r2. this process utilizes packages or applications that are deployed to collections. do you know of any way to deploy this on a per-system basis vs requiring users to be logged in and to run the installers? when it tries installing via the SYSTEM account it doesn't work. the install starts then immediately stops
