Install Permission Problem -- Fix Instructions Ineffective

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit up to date

All of a sudden after so many years I got the permission problem that tells me Flash Player could not install.

I followed the Adobe instructions using the MS program and FP_BAT file and manual installation of FP, but neither resolved the problem.

However, Windows shows me that 21.0.0.213 is installed--isn't that the latest version?

Pls advise.

    Hi,

Our fix permissions script is very restrictive to Flash Player only files and it's possible the file in question is not included.  Please see this Microsoft support document for assistance, which fixes permissions on the entire file systems: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/968003

    I don't understand your answer.

My problem IS only with Flash Player and I followed Adobe instructions and used the FP_BAT file, which did not help.

    Hi,

Please try the solution in the Microsoft KB article.  This solution has worked for users who reported the FP_BAT file not working for them.
