adobe downloads fine on firefox but does not install.  nothing happens

Please give more details; "nothing happens" when you try to do what? Mac or Win? OS version?

I am trying to install flash player and am using Firefox. I follow the steps to install it, but after that last prompt... Which I think says to "run it", nothing happens. The box just disappears but nothing installs.

Hopefully that is the info you need
