installation of flash player on MAC version10.10 OS X Yosemite

Hi Adobe support staffCan you please help me in installtion of flash player on my mac, the message it gives is " installation failed, doesn't have enough permission.." I have checked safari plugin, in preferences it shown only Adobe AAM detect, doesn't show adobe flash player as shown in your support section for safari browser. Kindly help , i have to complete one online assessment with the help of adobe flash player.

If you haven't rebooted yet, that's a great place to start. At minimum, it will eliminate a bunch of potential roadblocks for other steps.
