Installed Flash player 10 in safari- still can't play video.

I'm on a mac with OSX version 10.5.8. I'm running safari version 5.0.3. When I try to play any video on youtube, I get a message saying I need to upgrade to flash player 10 and it gives a link to download. I do that, and confirm that the new version exists in the internet plug ins folder, yet I still cannot play any video- It keeps asking me to download the new version of flash. Quite frustrating! Please help!

Well... I have the answer to my own question, so I'll throw it in here in case anyone else needs it... Apparently when you upgrade to a new version of Safari, it unchecks the "enable plugins" setting. So I just went in to Safari/Preferences and in the web content section checked "enable plugins". And it worked! Cheers.

I'm glad that it worked for you - my plugins are enabled but I still can't see videos.
