Installer just sits on my finder app in Mac

Question

Hi, I'm trying to download flash player. I have a brand new MacBook Pro with High Sierra. I picked the correct version and hit "Download Now", the installer goes into my downloads and then just sits there. When I click on it, nothing happens.

Please make sure you're getting the latest binary directly from us:

https://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayerbeta

If you haven't rebooted yet, that's a great place to start. At minimum, it will eliminate a bunch of potential roadblocks for other steps.

Collecting and posting the logs would help us improve the product, and the links to the offline installers at the bottom of the guide should get you going.
