Installing Adobe

I have tried many times to install adobe flash on my iMac but can never get it to completion. I have contacted Apple support but they are not allowed to give directions.

They gave me the tel. # for Adobe support but they are only available Mon. to Fri..

Are you able to walk me through the steps.
