Installing Adobeflash Player

I am trying to install adobe flash player on a Windows 10 laptop. It comes preconfigured with Chrome and IE, but I am needing to install the standalone program for independent program I am trying to run. When I try to run the setup scripts, it stops at 90 percent installed and errors out. Please let me know if anyone has found a answer to this problem.
