Installing earlier version

The latest update (Reader 11) has screwed up my video viewing (slowed downloads, interrupted viewing, frozen screen etc). I'm on Windows XP Pro (32bit). I want to download an earlier version 10.3. I can download it but it will not let me install it - how do I install an earlier version?

To downgrade to a previous version of Flash Player, uninstall the player using the appropriate uninstaller posted here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html.
