I am running Windows XP. I wish to install Flash Player. Have tried from several different sites and all come with various add ons that mess up my computer. I need a clean install. If I need to buy OK. My email is alan.greatwood@ntlworld.com.

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Just want to double check, is that Windows XP Pro SP3 or a different edition ?

To uninstall Flash Player :

1) Download Flash Player uninstaller from here

2) Close all the browser windows (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)

3) Run the uninstaller, make sure uninstallation is successfull.

4) Download Adobe Flash Player from here : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

5) Once download is complete, run the installer

Let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks,

Vikram

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

NOTHING ELSE in those.
