Installing flash - please help!

Hi there,

When installing the latest flash update, the process is halted and a message to close firefox pops up. The only thing is, I have closed firefox! I have actually now removed it from my computer to try and get this thing to happen. But it won't realise this! I've tried looking in the finder box and it is certainly not there under the "force quit" options. I am no computer whizz but this is getting crazy. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi,

You didn't mention what operating system you were using but I'm going to assume OSX.  If that's the case, can you please try the stand alone installer here:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg

Hi,

You didn't mention what operating system you were using but I'm going to assume OSX.  If that's the case, can you please try the stand alone installer here:
