I have an old program that says that I need have player 7, so do I have to uninstall player 12 to install 7 and how do you download an archived player? Have xp and ie.

Even the archives here don't go back that far. Flash Player 7 is eleven (11) years old, and unless you're using SP1 or the base XP, you'll find problems with that software on ANY newer machine, even SP2 or SP3.

You CAN find Flash Player 7 here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/macromedia-flash-player-7 but it's a third party site so you download at your own risk.
