Instillation of Adobe Flash Player

Well, I have done this instillation a bunch of times now.  It tells me it is installed.  When I check it with an uninstall program, it is there.  BUT, when I try to use it for Hulu, it keeps telling me that it isn't installed and wants to do an install (which I had done several times.)  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on an AMD dual core system.  I have tried every way I can think of to get it to work, and I have come up blank.  Back when Adobe was having security problems last month, I uninstalled all the Adobe free products.  Now, I have done the install of the Flash Player a bunch of times (including using the Adobe uninstaller, once between times.)  I am using Firefox, but I also attempted to do it in Internet Explorer 11 as well.  Nothing has worked.  No Adobe Flash Player shows in the ad ins, either.  STUCK!

Hi tech597,

Please work through the troubleshooting steps in Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows.  Ensure Flash is enabled in the browser, and in the case of IE, ensure ActiveX filtering is not enabled.
