Internet Explorer Security Pop-Up

I continue to receive am IE Security pop up involving Adobe Flash Player requesting "Allow for updates.  The pop-up repeatedly appears in sequences of threes and will not stop popping up despite approval for updates.  I have uninstalled FP from my programs yet the pop-up continues to interfere with my computer work.  My operating system is Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit; Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010.  Can you provide a solution to this problem that just surfaced?  It is holding my computer hostage.  Thank you.

    Please pardon my delay in responding. Don't know what happened but the pop-up ceased and problem disappeared. Thanks for getting back to me.
