Opera uses the same Flash Player plugin as Safari, Firefox and ANY other non-IE browser (Seamonkey or Maxthon for example).
Chrome has its own proprietary Flash Player plugin ("PepperFlash"), modified, embedded and maintained solely by Google.

The others are:

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

If you have the "other browser" pluign installed, it should work with Firefox if it works with Opera.
