Is flash player being replaced?

I have just bought a samsung galaxy tab 2 tablet, and beginning to wish I hadnt bothered as everything I wish to do on it involves Flash Player and it isn't available to download for android any more. Searching online, this seems to be an Adobe descision. If Flash Player isn't going to be available,  will there be something else to replace it. Or how do I get round this not being available for Android.

Hi v_adams1,

There is no support for Android 4.1 but you may still be able to install if you're still on Android 4.0 or below.  You can find the Android APK here.

Flash Player for Android is no longer available. For more information, see here:

Android users can still download and install Flash Player from the Archived Flash Player Versions page on the Adobe website.

Please refer : http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1061194

Please see this page for a list of all certified devices:Flash Player Certified Devices

You can refer this link for archived Flash player versions : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions. html
