is my flashplayer up to date?

I have a chromebook and it came with adobe flash player version - 11.8.800.170. I was told that I should have the Chrome (pepper-based flash player version  11.9.900.117.  am I ok with what I got? and by the way for about a week now I can no longer watch KTLA news live stream. any ideas why?

PepperFlash is the proprietary build of Flash Player that Chrome uses. It's modified by Google and ISN'T available here. IT can only be updated by updating the Chrome browser, or in your case, the Chrome OS. 11.8 should work with most sites, but if they've updated their embed code to require 11.9, then it will need to be updated.

Typing "chrome://plugins" in yoru address bar will take you to the page where you can check the status and version of the plugin.
