Is something wrong with adobe flash and firefox?

So...  Everything was working fine up until a few days ago.  Youtube works fine, but that's because it runs in the HTML line.  But as for videos and sites where you need the flash player to work... nothing.  Now I've read and tried about everything from completely uninstalling and reinstalling, to resetting firefox, to changing values, to ugh... everything.  Problem is... when I went to the test site, it said click on the icon below.  It would show if flash was working, and if it wasn't, there would be a box where I could still right click to go to properties.  My problem is that there is no box at all.  Same with videos and sites that use the flash player.  There's nothing there to click.  If you were to right click a blank space on any web page and see what it says ie "Inspect Element" "View Page Source."  That's exactly what comes up when I right click where the flash is supposed to be.  Very very frustrating... since I can't find anything online about that specifically.  Everything just says to right click the player that isn't working.  But there's no player there to click.  I can't figure it out.  Any thoughts?

Windows 7 professional service pack 1.

    Mozilla Firefox 45.0.1

    Shockwave Flash 21.0.0.197

Every page that is supported by adobe flash.   What to Watch | Dailymotion‌ is one of the many.

There is nothing to get an error message from.  Like I said... there's nothing there.  Might I also add.  If I spam click where it's supposed to be and have task manager up.  Plugin container for firefox spams.  There will be several of them pop up in processes and slow my computer down big time.

I'm not seeing Flash content on the main What to Watch | Dailymotion page.  Right-click on each video doesn't have 'about flash...' indicating they are not Flash videos.  But if I click on a video the next page has the Flash video.

Is Flash Player plugin enabled in Firefox (see Enable Flash Player for Firefox)

Do you see the Flash splash video when you go to https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/?  What does the 'System Information' widget display?
