Issue with videos white screening

I updated my flash videos, and now everytime I try and watch any flash videos like Youtube, the videos play with a white wash over the video.  I can still see the movie, but its extremely white.  The only way to make it go away is to switch the video to 720p and play it on my monitor, not my laptop screen.  Any ideas how to fix it.  I have a Toshiba A500, Windows 7 64 bit, NVIDIA 310M Graphics card. I have updated all the drivers, and it does not matter which browser I watch it in, chrome, ie, firefox.

    I did that, it did nothing.  The videos all still have the white glaze over them.

    That's odd that this is only occuring with your LCD, but outputting to the monitor is fine.  If you take a screenshot of the problem, does the "white" effect appear?  Have you tried playing video other than Flash video?  Here's a test page for HTML5 video:
