Today I updated my flash player to 10.1.82.76 and after the update I have had nothing but problems. My windows would continue to lock up and would also lock during the windows start up... cant even get into log in menu many times. I would require assisted start up just to get windows up and running. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and am using Firfox 3.6.9. Also have a friend whom has the same issues since he did a update and he is having issues with his sound card...

Hi, I saw this morning that FF updated to vs 3.6.9. I don't know if you updated FF or FP first.

What I would do tho, is download the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller and SAVE it to your Desktop:

Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Adobe Flash Player Installer for Firefox to your Desktop:

    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe

Be sure to use the Administrator Account, very important.

Close all browser windows, disable any apps in the system tray that uses Flash, messenger services, Anti-Virus that runs in realtime.

RUN the Uninstaller and then Reboot. Then RUN the Installer and Reboot.

Test here and if you see the animation and the version number, then Flash Player has been Installed correctly.

    Hope this works for you.
