latest adobe flash player installed on el capitan 10.11.5, but still won't play videos

When I just opened the weather channel page, I found I could no longer open their videos.  I then checked to be sure I had the latest adobe update.  It is listed as NPAPI Plug-in version 22.0.0.209 and it is installed.  As you can see from my question, I have el capitan 10.11.5.  What is the problem?
