Latest Flash not working in Chrome or Edge

Question

I can no longer use flash player in Chrome or Edge. (Windows 10).  The problem just started this week.  Chrome gives me a pop-up telling me to click to enable which I do, the application (Xfinity streaming) still fails.  When I try Edge, it gives tells me Flash is not enabled and gives instructions on how to enable.  When I go to Advanced Settings, it shows that Flash is already enabled.  I tried a different computer with Chrome and I get a pop-up that says Shockwave is no longer working.  I have version 30.0.0.something.

Chrome probably made it even more awkward and annoying to run Flash. This is their policy, until everyone has gone by 2020 when Flash is switched off. Contact Google about Chrome, Microsoft about Flash. And above all, contact Xfinity streaming and ask them what their plans are to migrate away from using Flash.
