Latest flash update not in Windows 10 update - yet?

so I know adobe flash got yet another update yesterday (28/12/15) but going into today I see MS has not pushed this down the pipe via Windows update. is there a reason why this is not happening yet? I updated the plug in on my Windows 7 laptop and did the update for Mozilla. But as yet edge and IE 11 on my Windows 10 machine are still waiting for the active x update (which AFAIK can only be done via windows update)
