Hi

we have an automation script that is used in our company and others around the world to update or freshly pull down the latest macOS/OSX installer for flash player.

the first part of the script looks for the current version number to hlep create the download location but the version in:-

http://fpdownload2.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/update/current/xml/version_en_mac_pl.xml

is acually on the previous version before (26.0.0.131) and not .137  can this be editited please or confirm this XML is not going to be used going foward?

thanks

    HI eutp86979523

While the file you are using can be queried to check for an update, several months ago we introduced a masterversion.xml file which can be used for the same purpose, and contains information for the various supported platforms and player types.  It is recommended that customers use the masterversion.xml file instead of querying individual update XML files.

    Hi,

I opened the link provided by you. I can see the latest version "137" in the xml file. Please clear the cache and try opening the file again.

    Thanks!
