Question

Lenovo Yoga 2 - A plugin (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding (reprise)

a couple of weeks ago Jeromie Clark helped me with an answer to this question and all was well https://forums.adobe.com/message/7992763?et=notification.mention#7992763

Unfortunately, however, the problem has now come back again and it's even worse . Hardware acceleration is still unchecked in Chrome, but when I go to Flash Player Help , the page freezes immediately and I can't even scroll down to see the tree. Ditto in Firefox, IE and Edge.

I'm back to where I was 2 weeks ago - everything constantly freezing up.

Hope you can help. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga, like many of the people in the previous discussion on this topic.

thanks

Hi again, yesterday Chrome seemed fine again but by the evening everything was crashing again. I just checked Firefox for about:crashes but no new reports. Any further thoughts? This is so debilitating

thanks

First things first, have you rebooted the machine since you started experiencing symptoms?

Ugh, no good.  What version of Windows are you on?  I don't see it in the details.

Please go to Control Panel > Flash Player > Advanced > and choose Delete All and Deauthorize This Computer.  Does that help?

Is there anything new in Firefox under about:crashes?  Can you click a couple of those links if they're timely (this will submit them to Mozilla for processing), and give me links to the resulting pages?
