libflashplayer.so with arora on ubuntu 9.10

i'm running 64-bit ubuntu 9.10 (minimal installation) with kde-minimal on top, and i'm having some trouble getting flash to work. i grabbed the tar.gz file and extracted libflashplayer.so to various directories, e.g., ~/.mozilla/plugins, ~/.netscape/plugins, /usr/lib/browser/plugins, /usr/lib64/browser-plugins, etc. but my browser, arora, doesn't seem to load the plugin.

where should the file be placed?

    i found the answer over at the ubuntu forums. it turns out flash requires libgtk2.0. i installed that (and a couple of dependencies) and now flash works.
