Mac Flash Player (21.0.0.226 and 21.0.0.242 has the same issue) System Preferences setting Allow Adobe to installs update keep revert to Notify me to install (since after installing the version 226)

Manually updated to version 242 still got this issue

Mac OS X 10.8 - 10.10 (standard user)

Any one has the same problem ? How to fix it ?

Thanks

    That's really odd.

I'd recommend completely uninstalling, then reinstalling.

    Uninstall Flash Player - Mac:

Then download the latest copy from here:

    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If you're still running into this, are you maybe reverting the change when restoring from a backup, or maybe you're a member of an enterprise domain where your administrator pushes settings to your machine?

Tried uninstall and reinstall fix the issues.

PS: All Macs are standalone computers and no backup restore done before
