I am running Windows 7 SP1 64 bit. I installed IE 11 browser and was notified to update Adobe from 16.0.0296 to 16.0.0.305, I did, ok.

I found IE11 unsatisacory and restored my computer to previous IE 9. I was having video play hangups. I uninstalled

Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305 & Adobe Flash Player 16NPAPI 16.0.0.305. I tried to install 16.0.0.296 as sugested by your download site. After download I get a message "Newer version already installed". Under programs installed I don't show any Flash Player installed.

I try to use your help section to use your uninstaller and I get a messed up blacked out page....why?

Your help would be appreciated..

    Hi Mack,

    I'm sorry, I don't understand what " try to use your help section to use your uninstaller and I get a messed up blacked out page....why?" means.  Do you mean the help page itself displays black? The uninstaller is posted to this page, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows‌‌.  I just navigated to it and it displayed fine.

    In order to install a previous version of Flash Player you need to run the standalone uninstaller.  However, we just released 16.0.0.305 today to address security breaches in 16.0.0.296 and it's advised to install 13.0.0.305, unless you absolutely need to install a previous version.

    Maria,

    I went to Adobe website now and it recommended 13.0.0.305. The download completed fine and it is shown in “Program & Features” on my computer. Great.

    When I click on the link you provided (Uninstall Flash Player Windows) the page opens in black with blue words down the right side. The page is unusable. I noticed other blog on the black page. I checked and Adobe Flash Player is enabled on add-ons.

    I clicked on an Adobe link to verify that Flash Player is performing correctly and got the black page.

    I don’t understand why I can’t view any of the help page items.
