MacKeeper Cloning Adobe Flash Player Need To Update

MacKeeper for OSX has cloned the Adobe Installation platform to install what they say is out of date version but instead install malware on MacBook Pro.

I have tried to report this to Adobe for 6 months but they don't seem to care.

MacKeeper alerts users that FP need updating, then present the EXACT Adobe Installation screen and process to download the malware. The only way you know it is malware is when you constantly get pop ups, conflicts and add ons and check Apple's Application Folder to see MacKeepers App.

Hi danpbrodtphotography

Adobe does very much care about malicious actors who do what you state.  I myself report many of these incidents to Adobe's Fraud team and they follow-up on it.  Unfortunately, the bad actors are constantly doing this and we're constantly following (just like a good old game of whack-a-mole).  Please PM me the link that downloaded the malicious installer.  I'll forward this to the Fraud team for follow-up.  In the future you can report this directly to Adobe.  See Notifying Adobe of Security Issues for details.  To send a PM, click on my user name link and then click the 'Message' button link.

Thank you.
