Question

Macromedia Flash ActiveX Control

I am trying to run Samsung PC studio and I keep getting this error message, "Your version of Macromedia Flash ActiveX Control isn't compatible with this version of Windows."

I had to re-install CS4 because of an update error message (which I am still getting) and I think that caused this problem because this program ran fine before. I do have the latest version of Flash installed (11.8.800.168) but that is the plug-in. Is the Active X control something different?

If so where can I download that?

I am running W7HP, 64 bit

Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

There are two (2) different versions of the plugin for Windows. ActiveX is for IE only. The other is for apps and browsers like Firefox, Safari, and Opera.

Thanks for the info. I had to uninstall CS4 completely before I could get Flash to install correctly. But I am still getting this error message from CS4 after I reinstalled it.

I have restarted numerours times of course but this message doesn't show when I had CS4 uninstalled. Quite aggravating actually. Any suggestions?

    CS4 didn't completely uninstall.

Use the CS cleaner to fully remove it
