Max number of swf files on one page

Hi, I have an html page with a number of buttons, each of which is a swf. When clicked, each button loads a separate swf that is a streaming mp3. No big deal, they all work. That is until I put more than 15 buttons on one page. At that point, all buttons stop working. Has anyone heard of this problem, or might there be a solution? Thanks ahead of time.
