Memory Leak in 19.0.0.226 Plugin for Firefox
Trying to get information on fixing a large memory leak with the 19.0.0.226 Flash Player Plugin when running Firefox (current version 41.0.2.5765). Problem started about a month ago (not sure if plug-in version has changed since then as I uninstalled before trying to install again today). When I launch Firefox and open five or six tabs, I notice that performance slows down immensely and task manager shows FlashPlayerPlugin_19.0.0.226.exe *32 ballooning in memory usage, sometimes to 1.5gb or more. Firefox itself uses quite a bit of memory but nowhere near the plug-in. I can end the process to restore performance, but reloading flash in one of the tabs starts the problems over again. Note, the task manager lists two instances of FlashPlayerPlugin_19.0.0.226.exe *32 under processes, but only one uses a lot of memory; the other stays steady around 4mb. The only workaround I've found has been to roll back to an earlier version of Flash Player (18.0.0.203) which obviously isn't an ideal solution. Any help would be appreciated. Specs follow:
Dell Inspiron 3542
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
