Movies stopped playing two days ago.

Streaming movies will not play. The black screen pops up and has a play icon in the center, but will not play when clicked. I have tried Firefox, IE 10, and

Chrome. I have the latest version of Flash. I believe this started when it updated.

I have deleted history, cache, etc. I have rebooted, and I have turned off firewall and virus protector.

Any ideas?

Operating sytem is Windows 7.

I tried turning off hardware acceleration. I also tried clearing flash history & macromedia history.

Check your firewall settings. Here's why I say that.

IE uses the ActiveX plug-in.

Firefox uses the Standard plug-in.

Chrome uses "PepperFlash" which is proprietary to the browser.

EACH of these plug-ins functions independently of the others. The Global settings affect hardware acceleration and local storage for all of them, but the playback for each is done with a different plugin in a different location physically on your HD. Anything that affects all three has to be coming from outside, because the odds are too remote that they all have the same identical problem.
