My display driver keeps crashing!

My graphics card - HD 5850.

While watching YouTube videos, live streams etc. my display driver constantly crashes ("Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered")

It only crashes when I have more than 1 video playing. There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with my graphics card because I can run all the newer games on the highest settings. But Flash Player is too much for it?! .__.

Hi, Have you updated your video card driver to the latest? The latest version of Flash Player and the Youtube videos are experiencing an issue. The following is what the Flash Player Team have posted and it has information on a couple of things that users can do to try to correct things.

Both Adobe and Youtube are working on these issues and if you can provide feedback(also included) that would be helpful.

Troubleshooting Flash Player Video Issues Flash Player 10 and later can use your system’s graphics hardware to accelerate video decoding. Flash Player 10.2 and later can also accelerate video presentation on some sites, accelerating all aspects of video playback.

If you are experiencing video playback issues in Flash Player, it is possible that your graphics card driver software has incompatibility issues. Please follow the steps in the following article to troubleshoot these issues and help provide Adobe with information that can be used to improve Flash Player.

This thread has a post that contains the active links for the driver info. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/803239?tstart=30

    See if these are helpful.

HI, I definetly have the latest driver and it STILL keeps happening. When I uncheck "enable hardware acceleration" it seems to stop. But then all the YouTube videos look terrible in fullscreen -_-

    PROBLEM NOT SOLVED

Hi, If you've updated your Driver and turned off hardware acceleration then as far as I know that is all that is being recommended.

You can search various help topics at Youtube here:
