Download the following files by right clicking the links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as"(Firefox).

    Flash Player Uninstaller

    Shockwave Player Uninstaller

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

    Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer

Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.

    Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLERS to remove all instances of Flash Player and Shockwave.

Run the Shockwave Installer first, then visit http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFull&P2_Platform=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE with Internet Explorer, (there isn't a direct download link - sorry) and install the Shockwave FULL installer for IE.

Next, run the Flash Player ActiveX installer, and then the Flash Player (other browsers) Installer.

Lastly, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.
