Hello everyone. I come here to ask about how to fix this problem. I can only handle part of flash player 10.3.

I am running a old pc. It has a celeron processor with 254mb(part of that is a ram card) of ram and 1.1ghz with a intel graphics controller.

My problem is is that my pc can not handle 10.3. I was wondering which older version of 10 do I need.  Do I need 9, I had 10 installed before yet I think ineed a older version of it since 10.3 requires far more. 10.3 requires a pentinum 4 and 2.22 ghz. If anyone can recommend which version to get I would be greatful.

oh and is there a way to get the old exe's with out the extra stuff from the archived files. Since most of the files are quite large and it's confusing me.

Thank you.

note my pc is not 32 bit or 64 bit its is a 16 bit and a 24 bit pc. It's old.

You mean you are on Windows 95?

What browser do you use?  (I remember I had Netscape 1.0 on Windows 95, as MS did not offer any browser then.)

Anyway, http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html recommends Flash Player 7 for Windows 95 and NT4.

You will need an extract utility like WinZip to get the exe files from the archive.  The latest FP7 installers are flashplayer7r73_win.exe (Netscape) and flashplayer7r74_winax.exe (Internet Explorer).

I am running a windows xp. It is a microsoft XP professional(5.1 build 2600)

    intel celeron 1.1ghz

with a 254mb of ram( that is part of a ram card)

I am not running windows 95 it's just my pc is quite old.

I downloaded the flash player 10 archive nothing else but the 10th version and I installed the newest version it had on there.

If there is a better option please tell me. thanks

edit: i am using mozzilla firefox the newest version of it.

Ok I'd like to say this now I pressumed my pc couldn't handle flash palyer 10.3 since the requirments asked ofr higher specs.

AND right before I tried to install it igot rid of my old flash palyer 10 and adobe flash activex.

After that I tried to install the program for firefox yet after I pressed run NOTHING appeared and firefox was off. I keep getting a error that says it couldn't connect or run a script or something from internet explorer.

I've been having these random script errors latly too.

Yet I have cleared up my pc and recently ran anti-malware, anti-virus, and defragmentaion scans, etc and more. (Avast piriform malwarebytes). SO every tiemi did this the program would run underprocesses but it would do absolutly NOTHING so I end up having to stop the process. Each time itry to install it it deletes it'self orsomthing as well from the file I downloaded it to though i pressume that is normal

Unless my problem lies more in the program then my pc then I'm ok.

I had run Flash Player 10.3 on a very old Windows 2000 machine until quite recently; no problems.

Windows XP, even on low specs, should not have any problems.

Try downloading the installers from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
