my volume doesnt work on certain websites

to be more specific. my volume works on websites like facebook. ones like youtube, abc.com, and more do not work because it uses adobe active control? or something like that. I contacted my computer manufacturer HP and they said they cannot fix it because it has to do with adobe. How do i get help for this issue. I tried calling adobe adn the customer service reps are not of any assistance and i need volume!
