need help downloading flashplayer 19.0 to my mac. does not work

No error message. Says it's installing, but then says no kilobytes available. Emptied all downloads and trash to make room. Spoke to mac people and they said same thing. There is plenty of room on computer. Downloaded el Camino OS X to see if it would work. Still same thing happening...
