need help watching videos

ive downloaded the latest flash player and i still cant watch videos on youtube. Do i need to turn javascript on? if so how do i do that? or is it a flash player problem?

    I'm having the same problem so I downloaded the Abode Flash Player 9.0.21.75 Beta and still I cannot watch the videos on youtube.com.
    I have the IE7 and have Windows Xp.
    Can anyone tell me why I cannot watch the videos?

    did you close the InternetExplorer during installation?

    BTW does FireFox work?

    I have the same problem as ace_1212. I have Windows XP with internet explorer. I don't understand it. Videos imported from youtube.com work just fine (like on myspace) but youtube.com doesn't work. My java HAS to be on, otherwise a lot of other stuff wouldn't work.

    SciFi.com's main page doesn't work... but music videos on other sites DO.

    I hope someone can help cause this is getting irratating.
