Neither latest Mac AdobeFlashPlayer installers startup in 10.11.6

Cannot install latest updates, as in the title: Neither latest Mac AdobeFlashPlayer installers startup in 10.11.6.

AdobeFlashPlayer_32ppau_a_install.dmg

AdobeFlashPlayer_32au_ast_install.dmg

The install app will open from the mounted dmg files, but just continue with the jumping icon in the dock for quite a while, stops jumping after some lengthly time, then nothing, no install window, just nothing. Force-quit to exit.

Needs a fix, or I just stop using Flash, I guess.

    If you haven't rebooted yet, that's a great place to start. At minimum, it will eliminate a bunch of potential roadblocks for other steps.

      Restalled via the newly downloaded installers from the webpage of the posted link.

      Installation worked, and all ok for now.
