I tried everything, I scanned for virus malware adaware with atleast 3 different applications, I reinstalled win xp pro 32 with all the updates 3 times, and still the same thing happends:( this is a major bug or some serious security issues aparantly, the last time I was  fed up with all this so I ran my Knoppix live cd with firefox, it's a linux system running compleatly from the cd and nothing is installed, that way nothing within the system can be changed becasue it is all burnt to the cd, this time the computer just frose, I been using firefox all along, but I also swapped to internet explorer 8 but this still happends, I never had any issues with flashplayer before and I had this computer for 3 years and it worked just fine, all this started to happend after the newest flashplayer version. please help!

    That is a bit extreme...

    You could have tried to

    • disable hardware acceleration;
    • update the device drivers for your graphics/video/display adapter;
    • revert to Flash Player 10.0

    yes I know it was a bit extreme, but I didn't have any clue at first what was going on,

    to disable hardware acceleration will not solve the problem because now Im using linux without

    the graphics drivers even installed, so there is no axeleration, the computer still freeze,

    I doubt this is about the graphics, when I had xp the drivers where installed, the same thing seem to happend anyway,

    a revert to older versions of flashplayer might help but that also

    mean I couldn't watch videos on Youtube etc,

    I have been looking around the net about this and it seems there is alot of people having the same issue,

    so Im not the only one, some folks said flashplayer got hacked and there is no fix out yet, I have no idea if this is true or not,

    but I sure hope it isn't, allmost every website on the net use flash on their site

    Unfortunately there are very few people on this forum who know anything about Linux.

    I've been having similar issues.

    The flash plugin has been crashing more and more since I recently updated. Causing system reeboots and screen lockups.

    Any help would be appreciated.
