New Mac Version Flash Player Download Hangs Up at 95%

I've been unable to download the newest version of Flash Player to my Mac 10.8.5, because the download always hangs up at 95% complete.  I've tried restarting my computer without success.  What is going wrong and what do I do to complete the download.  Previously my Flash Player worked fine, but I was notified that I need to upgrade to the new version.  Now I have no Flash Player working.  Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.  Thank you.

When it's installing, have you ever seen THIS?

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your response.

The answer to your question is "No" I have not seen the image you show. I have attached a screen shot of showing my situation. The same result numerous times even after restarting my computer.

I've checked this page and followed all instructions:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.html

There is no message that an error occurred. The progress of the downloading bar just stops at 95% every time (per image below).

I use Safari and my Mac is OS 10.8.5.

Hope you can help.

Bruce

Download the FULL installer: Flash Player 12.0.0.44 (Mac OS X)

Quit your browser after downloading it.

Mount the DMG and DO NOT run the installer from it!

Right click and Show Package Contents

In Contents/Resources, double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg, and run the COCOA installer for Flash Player.
