New player crashes IE8

Since I installed the last update, when I mouse over quite a few interactive zooms, shopping sites mainly, IE8 crashes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times, and when I tried the downloaded uninstaller suggested in a thread, I got the message it couldn't install, but of course it is installed, and still crashes.

I have Vista 32 and Nod32 as antivirus.

Hi, I would try Installing manually. Go here and download and SAVE the Uninstaller to your Desktop:

    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Then download and SAVE the Installer for IE to your Desktop:

    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

Close all browsers, disable any messenger services in the system tray(near the clock)

Run the Uninstaller and Reboot, Run the Installer and Reboot.

    Test here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

That solved the install glitch, but it still crashes when I mouseover.

Hi, Glad the Install worked for you. I don't know why when just hovering would cause it to crash. Must be something else.

Is there any addon from your Anti-Virus that could be conflicting? It certainly is browser related. Have you Installed any new software with addons?

Try to explain exactly what happens.

    Thanks,
