Newest Flash Player Quits working-both Firefox and Explorer, Help!!!

I have continually had a problem with Flash Player both using Firefox and Explorer 8. Seems to work for a while and then just stop working. I have had to delete the program and then download it again, had to play around with "Pluginx" etc. What ix the problem?????? Anyone actually know what'x going on? I am not a techie xo if you know and can explain it to a beginner, then please do.

what is your operating system & version?
what is your current Flash Player version?
what is "Pluginx" etc. ?
what is the meaning of "stop working" - what exactly is happening?

I really don't know how to tell you all of that stuff, I have Explorer 8, XP, Firefox latest, and when I say, Quit Working, I mean when live video should be flowing, nothing happens, the

screen is blank, can I be more clear???? Why is ʇɐb ɹəuəllıʍ upside down?

Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ? If so, right-click on it and select Settings. On the Display panel uncheck 'Enable Hardware Acceleration'. Does FP work now?
