Newest Update Failing

I was forced to install the latest Adobe Flash Player to play Forge of Empires this morning, so I did. The install went fine. I restarted my browser. I entered the game, but then items in the game started flickering and then completely blurring out with other graphic panels. After only a few seconds of this the plugin would fail. I tried to reload the page several times, but it kept failing. I tried this in both Safari and Firefox (the latest versions of each), and it failed in both cases. I restarted my Mac, and I tried again. It failed several more times.

I don't know what you guys did, but I think you broke your product.

If it is the same issue as mentioned in Flash Player on Safari crashing with games

This issue is fixed in Flash player beta which is live today 23.0.0.181.

Please download it from labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

Thanks

Please review this topic Flash Player on Safari crashing with games  to see if it's the same issue you are having.

Yes, it‘s the same issue: Flash plugin with Safari, latest versions of those and Mac OS. Seems you have everything you need to reproduce it.

Yep, as discussed in the other thread, it's a known issue and we're working on it.  In the meantime, the PPAPI player on Mac is unaffected, and is available as a temporary workaround.  Once a fix is available, it will land in our beta channel first, before showing up in the monthly release.

I have seen several people in different forums with the same issues, but ZERO replies from Adobe Support staff. If anyone has found solutions please post here. Thank you in advance.

I'm having the same issue just viewing videos in Firefox.

Crashed here too, twice, playing Cookie Jam on FB. Seemed to glitch out with textures the first time. The second time it just exited. Here’s the main thread and crashed thread from the crash log.

More info: this is 100% reproducible, in that it happens every time. I first see some flickering, when a particular effect is applied. Then soon after the game crashes, normally the second time that effect occurs. Once I got the above crash log. Once the game noticed and told me I had to reload the page (presumably it caught an error). Other times it simply locks up with some of the textures replaced with untextured quads it looks like, and I need to force-quit it.
