No Audio with Flash Embedded in PowerPoint

I realize this is a PowerPiont problem but does anyone know why my embedded swf file has no audio?   It works fine outside of PPT.

Thanks, the fate of my world is depending on this.

    Hi Mike,

    Since you have been able to test the swf outside of PPT, I assume you have the swf and tested it in the standalone flash player. Could you try playing the swf in Internet Explorer and confirm if the sound is missing there...

    The published version in html worked in Explorer. Could this be a setting

    conflict between Flash and PPT?

    Can you confirm your Flash Player ActiveX (IE one) version. It should be 10.1.85.3
