no file size and doesnt work

I

download flashplayer 10.3 and it says completed. when I open control panel screen, add/remove the words flashplayer is there but the word size and the file size numbers are not. I am trying run trackpass video with octoshape and flashplayer for nascar.com site. I have windows xp IE8. I go to load video from site and it shows download OK till it gets to 80% then nothing. Help!

    Hi, There usually isn't any size listed for Flash Player since it's a browser plugin. Take a look in the IE manage addons for Shockwave Flash Object and make sure it's Enabled. Also compare the version that is listed with the version of Flash Player here:

    http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    If that isn't the issue, let me know.

    Thank you, I didn't have shockwave at all as soon as I installed it and enabled it everything worked.
