No socket is mapped for this stream_name

I'm using Windows Vista and I just downloaded Flash 11 (although I had this problem before I upgraded Flash).

I'm trying to broadcast my Logitec C920 webcam and this is the message I get...

SYSTEM ERROR: Broadcast-verification failed (12 attempts were made). Message from server: Error 20 - No socket is mapped for this stream_name

The Performer App could however directly connect to ofms007.eqx-ny1.vs.com (time to connect = 44ms).

Please check your Flash-settings to make sure Flash has permission to connect.

It works with my built-in webcam but I need it to work with my Logitec. I recently installed AVG Antivirus, but I checked the Allow list and everything should be working. I even disabled AVG and still got the same message. I tried FMLE without success either.

Please check your Flash-settings to make sure Flash has permission to connect.

Have you right clicked on your app and made sure that the "allow Mic/Camera" option is tagged, maybe it got reset during the update? Also: try to increase the default local Memory Flash is allowed to allocate.

I did both of those and still nothing. A few days ago I had to do a system restore, and I didn't have any trouble before that. I've reinnstalled everything. Someone said it might be a corrupt file?

What does "no socket is mapped for this stream_name" mean? In FMLE I have the correct stream in there. I got that message before I even installed FMLE.

I'm not sure what's going on here.  I just tried streaming on ustream with my logitech C920 (windows 8 & chrome) and everything worked as expected.  I'd suggest a couple of things.  First, try posting over on the FMLE forum to see if anyone there has run into this before:

    http://forums.adobe.com/community/flash/flash_media_live_encoder

If you don't get anywhere there and you feel like this might be a Flash Player issue.  Please feel free to open a bug report at bugbase.adobe.com.  In the report, please include a copy of your dxdiag report, detailed steps to reproduce and any other information you think is relevant.  Once added, please post back with the bug number or URL so that others effected can add their comments and votes.

    Thanks,

    Chris
