Hello,

I went to Youtube and clicked on a video and it didn't had sound. The player looked different, like the HTML5 player, so i decided to update my flash player. After i did that, still no sound. Searched on the web and i tried to use HTML5 - Still no sound. Tried to uninstall my flash and install older version - still no sound. Now i'm with the latest version - Still no sound.

I'm using Firefox (latest version), Win Xp 32bit.

    HI ,

Can you please verify if your You tube videos are playing through Flash Player and not by HTML 5 .This can be verified by right clicking on the you tube video ,if it is running through flash player it will show the Adobe Flash Player version else it will show HTML5.

If it is running through HTML 5 you can download "You Tube Flash Player " plugin for the firefox which will force the You Tube to play the video using Flash Player .

    Hi,

Thank you for your replay. Yes, i've checked that i'm not using HTML5. It still doesn't work.

I changed my Flash version to version 11.2.202.233. Now i have sound, but only when im using headphones. If i'm not using headphones, there is no sound from the speakers. I can hear sound from the speakers when i'm playing MP3 files or movies on my PC. This is so weird..

    Hi ,

Is this issue observed only when you are playing you tube videos or it could be observed while running flash video from any other sites ?
